A Bunch of Saps!

We started collecting sap a few weeks ago. Not much collecting yet as it's been so cold in the daytime. It needs to be nice and warm in the day and be below freezing at night. We've collected two or three times so far and it's a lot of fun. For awhile. There are 600 taps but with all eight of us working together we git 'er dun. Maddy isn't in any of these pictures as she was at a friend's house. Notice even the cat helps!

I HATE hunting.

We couldn't resist putting Tink in this hat. She is absolutely miserable when we dress her up in anything! Oh, but she is so stinkin' cute! Yes, she may bark relentlessly when people knock on the door, but if you can get past that she is the best kind of pet. She's our baby!:)
